Calling All ‘Soldiers’ for Dellos’ Overnight “Boot Camp By the Sea” Or Experience Fun-Filled Dance Day-Camps in Chino!
As Dellos enters their 40th year in the dance school business, exciting and fun events will fill the calendar-months encouraging the participation of young and old alike. With the intention of developing new relationships and nurturing old, Mother-Daughter and Father-Daughter activities will bring together new and old studio families who are threaded together by one simple similarity…they have chosen Dellos Studios for their childrens’ artistic nurturing! Summer at Dellos offers day-camp dance instruction set in a fast-paced, encouraging environment with others of the same age and technical level so that all students are challenged!
SESSION ONE: “Dellos Dance Day-Camps”: Monday-Thursday July 15-18 (9:00 am-2:00 pm): Deposits by June 8th will secure a camp acceptance.
- “Kidz Dance & Music Day-Camp”: is designed for the beginning student ages 4-17 years of age. Instruction will cover the introduction and study of various dance styles, concentrating on proper technique, choreography, rhythm and showmanship.
- “Technique Advancement & Audition Preparedness”: Dancers 4-18 years of age with all levels of experience will be prepared and personally coached on the proper technique exercises and combinations expected at end-of-the-summer Company auditions. *A ‘Mock Audition’ with personalized critique and recommendation will be made available at an additional cost on Friday.
- “Technique Advancement”: Will cover the dance genres of Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Jazz-Funk and Musical Theatre. Instruction will emphasize the specific differences of style with concentration on ‘perfect placement and body-lines’, style, performance attack and overall presentation.
SESSION TWO: “Dance & Artistic Boot Camp” Overnight Boot Camp”: Friday August 15-Sunday August 18. Held on the beach shore of the “Army-Navy Academy By the Sea” in beautiful Carlsbad, California. Designed for co-ed dancers with prior experience, this 4-day camp has a fun ‘military-themed’ based itinerary that includes a balance of rigorous dance-training with fun team-building, pool, beach and barbeque time. Limited beds available! The “DABC” Overnight Boot Camp must be paid-in-full by June 8th to assure a space.
