Alexie Agdeppa's small frame hasn't held her back from becoming most successful in the entertainment industry! She performed on The Academy Awards under the direction of Debbie Allen, and can be found as a featured dancer on the children's TV series, "The Magic Toy Box", 'The Huggabug Club", and "Kid's Songs Videos". Alexie was a dancer in Columbia Picture's feature film, "I'll Do Anything", and made a guest appearance with "The LA Laker Girls" on The Jay Leno & Carson Daly late-night shows. Commercial and industrial shows for Canon, Nissan, Reebok, Culture Club, Disneyland and SABAN Entertainment kept Alexie's face and talent in front of the public.
While a popular Laker Cheerleader, Alexie had the opportunity to work with top recording artists, Prince and Nelly Furtado, and was featured in instructional dance videos for "Kids on the Beat", "Guidepost Junction', and "Johnny Smith's Hip-Hop". As a hoot, she agreed to perform in William Hung's "She Bangs" music video! A member of their dance team, Alexie graduated from UCLA in 2005 with a B.A. in World Arts & Cultures with an emphasis in Cultural Studies, Dance & Choreography. She is currently a member of the "XPOSE" Dance Theatre Company, performing recently in Afghanistan, and just returned from a two-week "Contra-Tiempo" tour in Cuba, performing Latin ballroom styles. When Alexie is not working professionally or teaching, she can be found rockwall-climbing, biking and horseback riding.
