Maggie Lopez is an energetic instructor with over fifteen years of teaching experience and twenty-six years of dance training! Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico and Dallas, Texas, she has taught competitive and non-competitive classes to students of all levels and ages. Maggie's talents lie in the creating and developing of children's programs, from lesson plans to recitals, complete with costumes, stage and lighting. A graduate from The University of New Mexico with a BA in Dance, she performed with The Albuquerque Civic Light Opera, Musical Theatre Southwest, and The Albuquerque Little Theatre. Specializing in teaching combo classes for the young beginner, Maggie's extensive experience with youngsters as well as with high school dance teams, make her a welcomed addition to the Dellos staff. "I truly value the skills and developmental milestones that come from bringing dance into a student's life! Now having my daughter, Grace, 2 1/2 years old taking my Intro2Dance class under my direction, I can appreciate the importance of setting strong, basic foundations at the earliest age!"
