Jasmine began dancing at Dellos at the age of 8. A hard-worker and high achiever, she has continued to maintain straight A's throughout her school years, and has managed to find the time to participate in her Senior year activities. Always an energetic and passionate performer, Jasmine received special awards and recognitions since her very first time on stage. She proudly remembers the excitement of being selected out of hundreds, to receive the prestigious LA Dance Magic and Millenium Dance Complex scholarships. As a young teen, Jasmine signed with the BBA Talent Agency securing her first professional job on "Tony Tee's Hip-Hop Age" video, and was a contender for the role of 'Young Nala' when The Lion King came to Los Angeles. Unmatchable in her stage performance, she was featured in the Dance Spirit Magazine for receiving Southern California's Future Star Award. Jasmine has actively been involved in Dellos' student-teaching program for the past four years and plans to choreograph and teach while attending college to study Business Marketing, locally in the fall. Her favorite quote is; "To accomplish great things, we must not only act but also dream...not only to plan but also to believe!" Jasmine adds, "I want to thank Mr. D and Miss B for providing me with such a diverse environment to spend my time when growing up. I credit them for all that I have accomplished thus far in my life and for everything still left to come! They have become a part of my family and I am grateful for all of the opportunities that they have made possible and proud to have shared so many memories made in their presence!" | ||||
