Joyleen Laurence originally from Washington, was blessed with a perfect dancer's facility, combined with beautiful feet and natural rhythm. Graduating with honors from her high school, she also carried the title of Dance Team Captain and choreographer of her high school's pep squad. Before heading to California to pursue the Hollywood scene, Joyleen obtained her AA in Business at Edmunds Community College and continued as a Dance Major at the Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, Washington. She enjoys teaching jazz, lyrical, modern, contemporary and hip-hop styles, motivating her students through an ever-changing fun and creative atmosphere. Joyleen emphasizes 'team-work and hard-work' working hand-in-hand, as the main tools needed for one to succeed in the competitive dance world. She is currently a member of the all-female professional hip-hop team, "Groovaholix".
