Carly tried her first dance class at the age of four but cried throughout the entire class. She returned at five years of age when the 'dance bug' bit her hard, and she's been dancing ever since! In the beginning, Carly's first love was tap. She could be found dancing down store isles and creating rhythms whenever her feet hit the ground. A natural-born dancer with the feet, legs and body to die for, she has grown to love all styles of dance and feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to train with many fine young instructors and choreographers who are experts in their fields. A competition dancer since the age of nine, Carly understands first-hand the commitment and hard work it takes to juggle the challenges of today's youth. The top dancer on her high school dance team, Carly has found her junior year to be academically consuming, while also teaching and finding the hours to keep up her personal dance training. She joined The Dellos Dance Connection from its opening day and prides herself on the exceptional training and knowledge she has been given, that she now shares with her own young students. "I feel lucky to teach at Dellos…watching my girls shuffle around creating their own steps makes me laugh because they remind me of myself at their age. It's rewarding to watch my students learn and grow, and they honestly make my day!", smiles Carly.
