Connie-Dee started dancing at the "Original Dellos" in Rowland Heights at the age of 3. Always tall for her age, she was forced to compete with girls much older than herself for a prestigious spot on her competition teams. Connie found herself becoming an over-achiever, quickly attaining Regional, State and National Titles, setting her apart from her peers. At the age of 12, she was cast as a dancer-model for Robinson-May's teen clothing line. Connie excelled in Dellos' student-teaching program, and while still in high school, became one of their youngest award-winning choreographers. She was one of the original "Mighty Duck" cheerleaders at The Anaheim Pond for the infamous Stanley Cup, "Mighty Duck" hockey team. Anxious to travel, Connie accepted the position as a singer-dancer aboard The Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. Her feature-film debut "I'll Do Anything", starring Nick Nolte, was her most enjoyable job assignment to date. Excitedly, Connie also shares memories of her performance on "The Billboard Awards" and when featured in feature-film, "Mr. Saturday Night", with Billy Crystal.
Connie was a model for the well-known car and truck magazines, Street Customs and Xenon. A highlight of her professional career, she toured the world as a back-up dancer for the world-infamous "Beach Boys". After returning home from being on the road so long she became the Line-Captain for the Las Vegas extravaganzas, "Hot Stuff" at The Sands Hotel, "Jubilee" at Bally's and "Splash" at The Riviera. Now enjoying a family of her own, Connie makes her home in Orange County with husband, Sean, son Joey, 5, and daughter Kylie, 2 1/2 years of age. "I love the rewards of teaching. Even though I've already been at Dellos for 33 years of my life (and teaching for 10 of those years!), I'm ready to become even more involved now that my daughter is almost old enough to take classes. To watch my little girl do what I did will make me the proudest Mom in the whole world!"
